FANG- BOOK 5

This book starts out with a devastating secret. Angel tells the flock that Fang is going to die. Max can't believe what she has heard, because she is finally starting to accept the fact that she is in love. Angel will not tell her how she knows of this secret, but it is assumed that it comes from one of her powers. When the science experiments are about to be terminated a bar code shows up on the back of the neck, so Max is constantly checking for one. Fang doesn't show any emotion to this factor; he is just trying to spend as much time as he can with Max. The only thing standing in their way is Dylan, who still thinks he is going to take Fang's place. Now the question is whether or not Dylan knew of this secret also and if that was why he was placed in the flock and trained to love Max.

Because Max and Fang are spending so much time with each other, the flock feels that they are a danger to the rest of the flock. They force the two to leave and Angel becomes the flock leader (what she has always wanted). Immediately Angel gets rid of all Max's rules. She gets rid of schooling and becomes the absolute ruler. In a way, the flock is scared of her, but she proves to be funner than Max. Fang ends up being captured by Dr. Hans and is killed. Max thinks that this is the end for all. Angel was right, so what is left for her to do now? The flock has a feeling something is up, so they rush to the rescue. Max injects an adrenaline shot into Fang's heart and revives him. He comes back to life, but in the mean time Dylan trys a suicide attempt, this does not work. After this the flock is reunited. This book ends here with a very suspenseful ending, making it impossible not to continue in the series.

  5. I think it's starting to sound exciting again! Some of the events have seemed a little contrived, and this is the point in a book series where it either really proves itself or becomes ridiculous.
